Early goal settled it for Chinatown FC
Bernard was set free and ran into opponent penalty box. Club de Futbol center back had force him to go to the byline but Bernard managed to skip past them before slotting past the advancing keeper to score from a tight angle.
Chinatown FC had tried to extend their league but was unable to break down Club de Futbol stubborn defend. Meanwhile, Chinatown FC was force to sit back for most of the game to contain opposition attacks.
Ah Heng, with his usual coolness, organise the back four superbly, catching opponent offside in several occassion and Wei Xian had a great match without losing lots of possession and look solid to neutralise opposition winger.
Davis was well protected by the superb defending of the team and virtually had a quiet game.
Second half started with Chinatown FC new signing, William, on his debut, playing alongside with Ah Hoe to spearhead Chinatown's attack. But, Chinatown FC had focus too much on defend to protect their slim advantage, thus neglecting on the attacking side.
William manage to prove to the team that he up to the occasion by dribbling pass several opposition in the 75th min before passing a defend splitting pass to Ah Hoe to set him free only for Ah Hoe to shoot straight to the keeper with his weaker left foot.
Game ended in a low as the ball was battle in the center of the field most of the time.
A hard fought 1-0 win to Chinatown FC.
